Just be sure to ask for "All synth audio outs," and then the 8 audio tracks you need will be there in your project, already connected to the outs from the module.ĭetails may differ between SD2 and SD3, but I think the above will get you going. The audio tracks for SD can be inserted automatically in your Sonar project when you first used the Insert Synth dialogue. Click your mouse on each of the numbers and drag upwards to re-assign each part of the kit to any of the 8 audio outs available. That means all the parts of the kit have been assigned to audio out 1. Under the graphic for each part of the kit, the default number of "1" appears. Alternately, you could load individual instruments to build a kit. Load a kit by clicking the arrow in the left hand corner next to Pad. With the caveat that things may have changed, here's what you do with SD2: I have Session Drummer 2, but from what I've seen, the architecture is rather the same for SD3. You should be pretty well set now, Abbie. While I was typing, both Susan and CJ also swooped in with answers. EDIT: HA! Look how fast this Forum moves.
